A fourth way

Or buy it yourself — the address is ours

In the three routes above we buy the goods for you. In the fourth one you do it yourself: Amazon, eBay, Trendyol, Hepsiburada — from anywhere in the world, on your own account, your own card, your own discount. You enter our address at checkout; the parcel comes to us, and getting it to the island and into your hands is our job.

Address 1 — Turkey

Our warehouse in Mersin

Parcels from different sellers come together here, and so does bulky freight — furniture, white goods.

Address 2 — Northern Cyprus

Our parcel intake address on the island

If the seller ships there, the parcel lands on the island directly — the shorter route.

We tell you which one fits your order — send the request, we send the address. Cost, as always, is itemised line by line in your quote.

Why it matters

Bringing goods from Turkey is a real import operation

Done alone, it means customs brokers in two countries, a power of attorney for each, a carrier to contract, and — for commercial goods — an importer licence. We take all of it off your hands.

On your own

  1. 01Find a customs broker in Turkey
  2. 02Grant them power of attorney

  8. 08Prepare the import paperwork

With Get2Cyprus

3 steps

  1. 01Name the product
  2. 02Approve the quote
  3. 03Take delivery in Cyprus

You grant no power of attorney. You never speak to a broker. You prepare no paperwork. Invoicing and documentation are on us.

Process

Three steps on your side

Three steps sit on your side. Everything else — purchasing, paperwork, customs in both countries, freight and delivery — runs on ours.

01

Name the product

Send the link, or describe what you are looking for. Telling us the intended use is enough.

02

Approve the quote

An itemised quote: product cost, freight, official duties and taxes and our service fee, each on its own line.

03

Take delivery

Purchasing, paperwork, customs on both sides and delivery on the island are ours.

All eight steps, the document each one produces and who does what →

Product price, from the selleras invoiced

Sea freightby volumetric weight
Official duties and taxespassed through at cost
Get2Cyprus service feeour only margin
Total to your doorfixed once approved

We add nothing to duties and taxes — they are passed on exactly as paid. Our service fee is the single line we earn from, and you see it before you decide. Amounts are filled in for your specific request; once you approve a quote, the total does not change.

Declaration — the one thing we always ask

[ ]Personal use

For you or your family. Not for resale. Personal import regime, lighter paperwork.

[ ]Commercial resale

To be sold on, or used in a business or project. Commercial regime — an importer licence and additional documents apply.

The two follow different import regimes, with different paperwork and different costs, so your answer shapes your quote. All customs and import procedures are carried out lawfully, through licensed brokers.

Undertaking

What we commit to

Six points. Each one is repeated in writing in your quote, and each one can be checked against your file.

Our undertakings — 6 points

Repeated in your quote

01

The quote is itemised, and our fee is a line of its own.

In practice"Get2Cyprus service fee" stands as a separate line — it is the only line we earn from, and you see it before you decide.

02

Duties and taxes are passed through exactly as paid.

In practiceWe add nothing on top of official payments; the figure in the quote is the figure the broker is assessed.

03

An approved quote does not move.

In practiceUnless you change the request yourself, the lines and the total are fixed from the moment you approve. Nothing is added afterwards.

04

Declarations are made on the real facts.

In practiceThe real invoice value and the real purpose of use are declared. Every customs step is carried out through licensed brokers, in line with the applicable regulations.

05

You hear from us at every stage.

In practicePurchase, warehouse, vessel, customs, delivery — each stage is reported to you. If the file waits at customs, we write to you before you have to ask.

06

One reference number, one point of contact.

In practiceYour file opens under a single reference. Whichever channel you write from — WhatsApp, Telegram or the form — the answer comes from that same file; you never have to explain it again.

What we don't promise yet

A delivery date to the day, and the limit of our liability for damage or loss. We are not printing numbers for either until the operation can hold them. The transit window and the insurance terms that apply to your shipment are set out in writing in your quote. We would rather withhold a promise than make one we cannot keep.

Frequently asked questions

Process, paperwork, timing and price — straight answers

These are the questions we get most. Where something genuinely depends on the shipment, we say so: we would rather give you a real number in the quote than a made-up one here.

Q-05

How long does shipping from Turkey to North Cyprus take?

  • Stated in your quote

The honest answer is that it depends on the shipment — and three separate stages decide it.

  • The seller's dispatch. Getting the goods to our collection address in Turkey. This is the most variable stage and depends on the seller's stock.
  • Consolidation and the sea leg. The sea crossing itself is short, but there can be waiting time depending on the sailing schedule.
  • North Cyprus clearance and island delivery. Depends on the regime and on complete paperwork — incomplete documents are the number one cause of delay.

Once the goods reach our delivery address in Turkey, a typical shipment is handed over on the island within 3–7 days. The seller’s own delivery time sits outside that band and is the most variable part, which is why we commit to no fixed date. Once we know the item, the quantity and the purpose, we put a realistic range in your quote. If something slips, you hear it from us before you ask — the bad experience is not the delay, it is the silence.

Q-06

How is the price calculated, and are there hidden costs?

  • Itemised quote

Every quote is itemised. We do not send a single “all-inclusive” number. The lines are:

  • Product price — as invoiced by the seller.
  • Collection inside Turkey — by distance and volume.
  • Consolidation and packing — per shipment.
  • Sea freight — by volumetric weight.
  • Official duties and taxes — passed through at cost; we add nothing on top.
  • Get2Cyprus service fee — the single line we earn from, and you see it before you decide.

We do not publish a fixed tariff table, because volume, product type and regime differ on every shipment. Rather than a plausible-looking made-up figure, you get the real one for your own shipment. Once you approve a quote, the total does not change.

The total moves only if you change something — the item, the quantity, the address or the declaration. Then a new quote is issued and it again goes ahead only on your approval. Never as a surprise on the invoice.

Q-10

How are you different from a courier or cargo company?

A courier moves a parcel that already exists from A to B. You buy the goods; if the seller does not ship to North Cyprus you never get started, and at customs the counterpart is usually still you. Postal and courier traffic to the island is addressed through the “Mersin 10, Turkey” format — useful for letters and small parcels, but it does not make you an importer's problem go away.

We take on the missing link in the middle of the chain: buying on your behalf, collection and consolidation in Turkey, customs and paperwork on both sides, and delivery on the island. We also do supplier and market research inside Turkey — a cargo company does not.

If you have already bought the item and sent it to our address in Turkey, that works too — provided the invoice is issued in our company name: the purchase is not ours, we only organise the process, and the service fee is lower.

Q-12

What happens if something arrives damaged, missing or wrong?

  • Insurance is your choice

Transit insurance is a separate line in the quote. For high-value goods we recommend insured carriage, and your decision is recorded in the quote itself.

If you see damage or a shortage at delivery: photograph the packaging and the goods before unpacking, have the condition noted on the delivery receipt, and tell us the same day. That record is the basis of any claim, whether against the insurer or the carrier; without it, a claim's chances drop sharply. We then pursue it on your behalf.

The honest limit: on uninsured shipments, compensation is capped by the carrier's limited liability. That is precisely why we make the insurance decision together, at the quote stage.

A wrong or defective item from the seller is a different matter: on the Turkish side, we are the ones dealing with the seller. We set out the conditions for returns and exchanges — and any fee — up front. The service exists; it is not free.

Before you order

  • Our minimum service fee is 100 USD. The fee varies with product type, number of items and volume, but it does not go below that figure. For a single small order, do the sums first — combine several items into one shipment and the fee spreads across the whole order.
  • Invoices are issued in the name of Get2Cyprus. If you place the order yourself, enter our company details in the invoice fields at checkout; we send you those details when we reply to your request. Most sellers will not change an invoice after the order is placed, so enter them from the start. When we do the buying, this is handled for you.

Question not on the list? Send us the product link and we will answer for your shipment specifically, not in general terms.
