Bringing goods from Turkey to Northern Cyprus is not a courier job. It is a real export–import transaction across two jurisdictions. This page walks through all of it — party by party, document by document.

Short answer
You are involved at three points: you name the product, you approve an itemised quote, you take delivery on the island. Everything in between — buying, warehousing, both customs jurisdictions, powers of attorney and paperwork — sits in our file. Realistic end-to-end band: 3–7 days.
The one thing that stretches that band is the seller's own lead time. If an item is out of stock or made to order, we tell you at the quote stage — not halfway through.
Your side
The three points where you are involved
The flow below has eight steps. Three of them ask something of you. In the other five there is nothing for you to do except be kept informed.
01
You name the product
We take the link and quantity, the delivery area and your declaration of purpose. If you have not found the item, that works too — describe what you need and we research the Turkish market. What we need: a link or a description, and one sentence on what it is for.
02
You approve the itemised quote
The quote lists product cost, collection inside Turkey, consolidation, sea freight, official duties and charges, and our service fee — each on its own line. The moment you approve, the lines and the total are fixed; nothing is added later.
03
You take delivery on the island
The shipment arrives at the address you gave. You sign the delivery note and receive the full document file digitally. What we need: a delivery address, the person who will receive it, and a signature.
Beyond that we ask nothing of you. You sign no power of attorney, visit no notary, appoint no customs broker, file no declaration and negotiate with no carrier. The single exception is a commercial declaration, where your importer licence and company details are needed — the reasons are set out on personal or commercial.
The flow
Request to delivery: three legs, eight steps
A shipment runs in three legs: the Turkey leg (buying and export), the sea leg (Mersin to Famagusta) and the island leg (import and delivery). Every step produces a document, and some have a point where they can stall — we write down both.

01
Request and declaration of purpose
The file opens here and you get a reference number. Your declaration of purpose — the answer that decides which import regime applies — is recorded at this step, and everything that follows is built on that single answer.
REQUEST RECORD — REFERENCE NO.
YOUR SIDE
A link or a description, quantity, delivery area and the purpose.
OUR SIDE
We open the file and ask for anything missing in one go, not in instalments.
02
Product, seller and eligibility check
Three separate checks: is the item genuinely in stock, can the seller issue a proper commercial invoice, and can this product enter the island under this regime. Dimensions, weight and product class are settled here — the accuracy of the quote depends on this step.
This is where it can stop. If the item needs a permit, the seller cannot invoice, or the goods cannot enter as they are, we tell you before anything is bought. Late bad news costs more than late good news.

OUR SIDE
We confirm with the seller and, where needed, ask the broker about the product class.
03
Itemised quote and your approval
A quote is never one number: every cost sits on its own line, and our service fee is one of those lines. The document list and a realistic time range are written into the quote as well. The moment you approve, the lines and the total are fixed.

04
Purchase and collection inside Turkey
We buy the item from the seller on your behalf, obtain the invoice and have it delivered to our warehouse. On intake we check quantity, model and visible damage — whether what arrived is what was ordered is settled here, not on the island.

06
Mersin → Famagusta (Gazimağusa), roll-on/roll-off
The shipment crosses on the ro-ro line. The crossing itself is the shortest part of the process; what actually governs the band is the sailing schedule — a shipment that misses the loading cut-off waits for the next departure. That is why we book before the paperwork is finished.

STEPS 07–08 · 1 ON YOUR SIDE
07
TRNC import declaration and assessment
On the island the import declaration is filed by our licensed customs broker in Northern Cyprus; official duties and charges are assessed and paid. Those amounts are passed on to you exactly as shown in the quote, with nothing added.
This is the other place it can stop. If the paperwork does not match the declaration, if the product group needs a permit, or if a document is missing on commercial cargo, the file waits. That is why we complete the paperwork at steps 02 and 03 — not at the border.

TOTAL
3inputs, from you
8steps, all from us
Export and import formalities are carried out on both sides through licensed customs brokers and in accordance with the legislation in force. Official duties and charges are passed on exactly as paid; we take no margin on that line.
Power of attorney
Why the power of attorney sits with us — and what that means
This is the part most people skip. Customs clearance is not something anyone can simply do for themselves: it runs through a licensed customs broker, and for that broker to act on your behalf a power of attorney is required.
If you brought goods over yourself, that chain would be yours to build: find a customs broker in Turkey and grant a power of attorney, find a second broker in Northern Cyprus and grant a separate one, agree terms with a carrier, have the export and import paperwork prepared, and — for commercial cargo — hold an importer licence. Four or five separate companies, two notary processes, and nobody who is accountable when something goes wrong.
With us the chain already exists. The brokers on both sides are our contracted brokers, and the formalities run on our power of attorney. The document goes from us to the broker, not from you to us. You do not visit a notary, appoint a broker, or read a customs declaration.
So what stays with you?
Three things — and all three stay with you deliberately, because all three are your information:
The declaration of purpose. Nobody but you knows where the goods are going, and that sets the regime — see personal or commercial.
The importer licence on commercial cargo. It belongs to the buyer; ours does not stand in for it.
The delivery address and who receives it. Where the shipment goes after customs, and who signs, is yours to tell us.
Granting a power of attorney and handing over control are not the same thing. We organise the customs process on your behalf; ownership of the goods, responsibility for the declaration and the decision to accept delivery remain yours. Every action is written into your file and you can ask to see it at any point.
Documents
Which document each step produces, what it proves, who holds it
A shipment produces eleven records. We create and archive ten of them; one comes from you. On a commercial declaration the importer licence joins the list.

On a commercial declaration the importer licence and company documents join this list — both of which come from you. Which document comes from you, which from us and which from the broker is set out in writing at the quote stage; a surprise that surfaces later does far more damage than the promise itself was worth.

Timing
3–7 days end to end — and what stretches it
That band covers the whole process, not just the part after the goods reach our warehouse. Below are the three real reasons it stretches — and none of them is the ship.
The item is not in stock. Anything made to order or waiting at the supplier holds up the whole chain. We establish this at step 02 and write it into the quote separately — it is not left as a surprise.
Paperwork is missing or inconsistent with the declaration. This is the number one cause of delay. It is why the document list is produced with the quote rather than assembled at the border.
The product group needs a permit. Food, cosmetics, medicines and medical devices and some electrical goods may need additional papers. We ask before anything is bought and add the time if it applies.
The sailing schedule is a variable too: a shipment that misses the loading cut-off waits for the next departure. We manage that on our side — getting the paperwork ready in time for the sailing is our job, not something for you to chase.
We do not publish a single guaranteed delivery date, because we would rather not make a promise we cannot keep. The realistic range for your shipment is given in writing in your quote, and if it slips we tell you before you ask. The worst experience we see in this market is not the delay itself — it is hearing nothing about it.

7 entriesWorkflowUpdated: 09/2026
Q-01
Do I buy the product, or do you?
Either works, and the process shortens accordingly:
We buy it. You send the link; we purchase from the seller on your behalf, obtain the invoice and have it delivered to the warehouse. We are the ones dealing with the seller — a seller who does not ship to Northern Cyprus is no obstacle, because the delivery address is in Turkey.
You buy it. You order it yourself and send it to our warehouse in Turkey. The purchasing part of step 04 drops out and the service fee is lower; the rest of the process runs exactly the same.
We settle which route you are taking at the quote stage, because the document flow and the invoicing differ between the two.
Q-02
How many companies are involved, and how many do I deal with?
One point of contact
At least five parties: the seller in Turkey, the warehouse and consolidation, the customs broker in Turkey, the sea carrier, the customs broker in Northern Cyprus, and island delivery. You deal with none of them.
You deal with one party: us. Your file opens under a single reference number, and whichever channel you write from — the form, email, WhatsApp or Telegram — the answer comes from the same file. You never have to explain it again from the start.
Q-03
What happens if the file is held at customs?
We chase it
First, the honest part: the usual cause of a hold is paperwork, not the goods. That is why the paperwork is completed at the quote stage rather than at the border.
If it does happen: our broker identifies what is missing, the document or correction is supplied, and the file moves again. We tell you before you ask — which stage it is at, why it is waiting and our estimate of when it will clear. If something is needed from you (a missing document on commercial cargo, for instance) we ask for it once, clearly.
Q-04
If I order from several sellers, does it all come as one shipment?
Yes, wherever possible — this is consolidation, and it is the single largest saving for anyone ordering from more than one place. Items from different sellers are combined at our warehouse in Turkey and travel as one packing list and one shipment.
The limit is not quantity but timing: if one item is running late, there is a choice between holding the rest and shipping separately. We do not make that choice alone — we set out the situation and leave the decision to you.
Q-05
Which documents do I receive at delivery?
All of them. The records listed in the table above are sent to you after delivery as a single file summary: the seller's invoice, the export and import declarations, the transport document, the duty and charge assessment, the delivery record and our service invoice.
This matters particularly for business buyers: everything needed to book the import correctly is in one place. Personal shipments get the same file — and it is what proves most useful in warranty and return situations.
Q-06
How do I follow the shipment?
Through the single reference number. You are notified at purchase, warehouse intake, sailing, customs and delivery, and each notification says which step the file is on.
For now those notifications go through your own messaging channels. A live tracking screen is planned, but we do not describe a feature that is not live yet. What is true today is simpler: we tell you before you ask.
Q-07
What if I change my mind partway through?
It depends where you are, and we would rather say so plainly. Before you approve the quote: you owe nothing, the request simply closes. After approval but before purchase: usually resolvable, and we set out the position.
After the purchase has been made: the goods are bought and invoiced, so what happens next depends on the seller's return terms and on the real costs already incurred. We show that line by line as well — we do not round either the loss or the gain.
Before you order
Our minimum service fee is 100 USD. The fee varies with product type, number of items and volume, but it does not go below that figure. For a single small order, do the sums first — combine several items into one shipment and the fee spreads across the whole order.
Invoices are issued in the name of Get2Cyprus. If you place the order yourself, enter our company details in the invoice fields at checkout; we send you those details when we reply to your request. Most sellers will not change an invoice after the order is placed, so enter them from the start. When we do the buying, this is handled for you.
Question about the process that isn't here? Send the link and where the goods are going, and we will describe the flow for your shipment rather than in general.
Send the link or describe what you are looking for, and tell us where it is going. We build the rest — the buying, the paperwork, both customs jurisdictions and the delivery. There is no minimum; a single item is a real order.
