About the vehicle service
V-01Which cars can be brought over?
North Cyprus vehicle import conditions (such as age, engine and vehicle type) change from time to time, so we do not publish a fixed list. Send the listing link before you buy and we will check, against the current rules, whether the car is eligible.
V-02Can I have the car checked before I buy?
We help you ask the seller for extra photos, video, service history and documents, and we discuss an inspection at the quote stage. We advise against buying until you are sure of the car's condition.
V-03How long does it take?
It depends on the route, the ferry and sailing schedule and how busy the borders are. We put a realistic time range in the quote in writing and update you at every stage on the way.
V-04Who pays the customs duty, and how is it calculated?
North Cyprus customs duty and official charges are calculated by the authorities from the car's value, age and engine. They appear on their own line in the quote, exactly as paid; we add nothing on top.
V-05How do registration and plates work?
The quote states in writing which post-customs registration and plate steps are yours and which are ours, and we list the documents needed from the start.
V-06What if something goes wrong on the way?
The insurance and liability terms that apply during the journey are written in the quote. If there is a delay or a problem on the road, you hear it from us before you have to ask.
Before you order
- Our minimum service fee is 100 USD. The fee varies with product type, number of items and volume, but it does not go below that figure. For a single small order, do the sums first — combine several items into one shipment and the fee spreads across the whole order.
- Invoices are issued in the name of Get2Cyprus. If you place the order yourself, enter our company details in the invoice fields at checkout; we send you those details when we reply to your request. Most sellers will not change an invoice after the order is placed, so enter them from the start. When we do the buying, this is handled for you.
